Lady Gaga flourishing with new perspective.

Lady Gaga seems to be humming to a new tune as her latest instagram pic would suggest. The singer,
known affectionately to her fans as Mother Monster, took to Instagram with a black and white picture of her snuggled in a white fur coat atop the hood of a convertible with the caption "Curvy and proud" (right).

The "Bad romance" singer, who has admitted to her eating disorders in the past, seems to have it all under control as of late. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar for their February issue, she revisited past struggled with her body image and goes on to say: "I'm better with food. I don't have an eating disorder anymore. I'm also better at not letting people take advantage of me."

"Five years ago, when I spotted someone with a hidden agenda, I allowed them to stay around me but now I speak up. I realized that it's my own fault that people take advantage. I should be around people who cherish my talents, my health, my time… I'm an artist. I deserve better than to be loyal to people who only believe in me because I make money."

"I learned that my sadness never destroyed what was great about me. You just have to go back to that greatness, find that one little light that's left. I'm lucky I found my little glimmer stored away."

In 2012, images of Gaga surfaced of her sudden weight gain and this caused a massive media eruption, but the star turned all the "negative" (weight gain in the eyes of Hollywood) publicity around, and channeled these criticisms into a positive initiative in the form of her "Body Revolution" 2013 Campaign.

She brought to the public's attention her battle with anorexia and bulimia since her teenage years by posting pics of her body and exposing her flaws for all the world to see. Since then, the masses have been storming to the website sharing their similar battles with body image, and spreading Gaga's message across all platforms. Gaga's statement in support of the revolution was: " I want to let other girls know that being thin doesn't make you happy."

After her latest underperforming album and concert ticket sales, Gaga seems to be reinventing herself again. If this news is anything to go by, it seems that she is busy transitioning into a new phase, a much healthier one, and hopefully this can translate through her music as well and conjure up the much-loved "old" Gaga.
