Anne Hathaway and husband brings some positive news to a needless reality star-headline-filled Hollywood.
Anne Hathaway and hubby Adam Shulman have exposed a more humane and caring side of Hollywood through their reaction to the pesky paparazzi. The two lovebirds were seen walking their dog when they were, as expected, spotted by a tabloid cameraman. But this hollywood couple used this invasion to their advantage: following the example of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield they covered their faces with mini signs in a attempt to raise awareness about their favourite charities.
The Les Mis and The Devil wears Prada star held up a sign to her face reading: "Please check out: www.girleffect.org (an organization that empowers young woman), www.feedingamerica.org (a nonprofit network of domestic food banks) and www.worldofchildren.org (a charity raising awareness for children's issues)."
The stars husband had a shorter message reading "Happy 4th of July," handwritten on a piece of cardboard. It's definitely a refreshing change from needless Hollywood drama and fame-thirsty reality stars. Hopefully many of us will check out the sites and support these worthy causes.
Pink Floyd set to release new album after 2 decades of music silence.
After 20 years Pink Floyd is set to release their new album, Endless River, this fall.
A deluxe reissue of their last album is set to hit the stands in commemoration of its 20th anniversary, and will also set the stage for new music. The news was leaked onto twitter Saturday by lead guitarist David Glimour's wife, author Polly Samson. The band's late keyboardist Rick Wright passed away in 2008 due to cancer, but the new material will be based on sessions from 1994 featuring Wright. What was originally planned as a side project titled 'The Big Spliff' has evolved into a full-length album. The band is set to reunite for limited performances of their new material, which will be released in October.
